Academic Staff College, B.R.Ambedkar Bihar university, Muzaffarpur

The academic staff college is a UGC sponsored separate entity of the university enjoining functional autonomy granted by the University.

The ASC is an inter University institute catering to the needs of colleges and Universities falling under its catchments area. The functioning of ASC is uniformed by an Academic Advisory Committee of ASC constituted under the guidelines of UGC.

The academic advisory committee includes representatives from universities and colleges as members. The Vice-Chancellor, B.R.A.Bihar University Muzaffarpur is the ex-officio Chairman and the director, the member secretary of the committee. The Academic advisory committee is to be constitueted by the chairman by nominating its members.

All matters relating to the ASC including financial matters will be placed before the committee which may meet twice in a year the term of the committee is two years. Catchments Area

 The catchments area of this ASC extends over all the institution falling under the territorial jurisdiction of J.P. University, Chhapra; L.N.Mithila University, Darbhanga; K.S.D. Sanskrit University, Darbhanga; B.N.Mandal University, Madhepura in addition to the host B.R.A.Bihar University Muzaffarpur.
